Did you know Golurk can fly? | Bronzong is a support Pokemon with Trick Room and the classic Iron Defense + Body Press combo. Alcor insisted on adding this Pokemon because it visually matches Golurk so well. | Orbeetle-Gmax can set Gravity, grounding all Pokemon and boosting the accuracy of all moves, including Bronzong's Hypnosis. Scrafty has since become one of Alcor's favorite Pokemon, appearing in many of her other team drafts. | Porygon2 is usually a tanky support Pokemon with Trick Room, but this one is also built to do damage. Alcor's favorite lead duo was Scrafty + Porygon2, with Fake Out usually allowing Trick Room to go up. | Rotom-Wash is the only fast Pokemon on Alcor's team, with Choice Scarf making it faster than almost all opponents. It can work as a finisher after Trick Room ends. | |||
| Team Strategy: | With two Trick Room setters, Alcor has a hard Trick Room team designed to let Golurk wreak as much havoc as possible. Most of Alcor's Pokemon are slow and bulky with a lot of staying power, but don't underestimate the trickiness of Rotom-Wash! Gigantamax Orbeetle's unique move sets Gravity, allowing Bronzong to spread status via 100% accurate Hypnosis. | ||||||||
