| Description: | Sketch is Alastair's familiar! Tanky and tenacious, Sketch never gives up at the end of a fight! | Herald starts every battle. He's the hardest working bat. | Oracle supports the team and sees the opponents moves coming and yells really loudly so everyone can get out of the way and thats my headcanon for how they help reduce damage. | Dread it, run from it, destiny arrives all the same. Destiny originally was designed around keeping enemies from switching out after being poisoned, but eventually transitioned to a more high damage/versatile role. | Icarus flew too close to the sun and burnt up! Icarus is designed arround dealing as much damage as possible as fast as possible, but locks themselves in to the same move and originallyy had "Overheat" that would reduce their stats with each attack. | When Dad's around, no fun's allowed. Dad was originally designed to have neutralizing gas, which turns off abilities and disrupts combos. He was transitioned to be a more bulky and versatile pokemon instead, having the team's only electric move. | |||
| Team Strategy: | Alastair's team was designed to either stall as hard as possible and take opponent's out with hypnosis, toxic, and status spam, or blast onto the scene and wipe them out as fast as possible with Destiny and Icarus (and a surprisingly effective dynamaxed brave bird on Herald). | ||||||||
| Notes: | All the pokemon were picked to fit aesthetics first, and then fit around Alastair's preferred playstyle (which isn't super effective in pokemon :3). I wanted opponents to feel like the battle was already over before it ended, in order to feel the weight of destiny! | ||||||||
